English in Action: A series of Contextual English Textbook for Indonesian Elementary School Students Grade VI

English in Action is a series of contextual English textbook for Indonesian elementary school students. This textbook series is designed using a contextual learning approach and culturally relevant pedagogy, which means that the materials and activities in each unit are adapted to real-life situations and reflect the culture of Indonesian students. By connecting the materials to students’ everyday experiences, we aim to make the learning process meaningful and engaging. The topics in this series follow the Kurikulum Merdeka to meet the educational standards and goals of the Indonesian Ministry of Education and Culture. In each unit, the activities are designed to support the key learning outcomes of the Kurikulum Merdeka, including listening-speaking, reading-viewing, and writing-presenting. These activities help students develop their English in an interactive and meaningful way.
